New Stuff: Nudibranchs

By Elizabeth M. Lukan to New on the Web, Wallpapers on Sunday, September 7th, 2008.

Published in June 2008 on the National Geographic Magazine’s site, the article entitled Living Color: Toxic nudibranchs—soft, seagoing slugs—produce a brilliant defense by Jennifer S. Holland and photography by David Doubilet includes some of the most beautiful photos of Nudibranchs that I’ve ever seen. Along with the article is a Photo Gallery, a video entitled Beautiful Slugs, Puzzles, Wallpaper, and a section to learn more.

I had a fun time putting together one of the puzzles. They are a worthy time waster so give them a try or pass them on to your kids.

As you know I love a good wallpaper, well I snagged quite a few of them. My kids are going to love seeing these wonderful critters pop up on the family pc as the background of the day!
